You mean the 21st century?
If you took the time to read Trevor's aptly-titled, "And so he kept on writing..." post from the 21st you might have noticed, as I did, that in the second half of the post he explains why I get annoyed about the generalizations he referred to in the first half of the post.
He also seems to think that art necessarily demands critical analyis. If anything, the critical analyst demands the art.
