Holy Crap
Less than 24 hours until December people. Soak up the 2004 while it's still available.
2005? Could be awesome... I'll let you know!

Freshly back into stale habits?
Two steps forward, one step back. Welcome to life!
Lots of things to write about, but no way to write about them. My life feels like a bit of chaos right now, and I don't know what to do about it.
Things are not falling apart, I don't think. Things are quite well. But there is definitely stress that I am not responding well to.
I've got a few more days to plow through. This week is possibly the worst of the year. But then we haven't hit February yet. At least I remember what the sun looks like now.
Change is in the air, it's a dynamic time. I'm sure my horoscope would agree.
I think a haircut is in order. I'll get that done tomorrow if I can. This quasi-mullet is growing unruly. It's been too long since I trimmed the burns too. A little self-care goes a long way.
I'm defintely back a few steps. But the journey goes onwards, and even a step backward is new. You can never step into the same river twice, they say.
So future prospects: bright as ever. Immediate situation: quite grim.
Problem is there's no way to the one without going through the other.
Wish me luck.

What I didn't write...
I know it's been almost a month, but I haven't forgotten you! It's just that I've been wrapped up in a number of things. Good things. Wonderful things.
I'm not sure why, but everything's coming up right for me. Hell my favorite songs are even coming up one after another in iTunes.
It's like I'm crowd-surfing. Any minute I could crash down to the concrete, but there's always a hand popping up to catch me.
There's a bunch of things I could have written about--I have new ideas every day! Check out these gems:
You see, I've not forgotten about you. I'm always thinking of new and exciting things to tell you! It's just that I get home from school, and I'm exhausted. It's a lot of work, all this learning, and socializing.
Once again iTunes gets it right, this time with a little George Harrison:
Well shucks. I meant to write a quick little thing about things I haven't written about and it's turned into it's own thing.
Funny how that happens. I think I'm at a point where I'm ready to start putting out again. I've been taking in a lot, a lot. And I've forgotten about the joy of giving out.
It was really energizing to perform again tonight--Acoustic Night at the Ab. It's been a substantial amount of time since I've played for people. And usually it was just two songs. I had sort of forgotten that I can do it.
Right now this is becoming navel gazing.
Looks like iTunes messed it up this time!
Sorry 10,000 Maniacs, just 'cause the universe picked you, doesn't I'm going to listen. The universe has also provided a "next" button.

There's a bunch of things I could have written about--I have new ideas every day! Check out these gems:
- The unspoken camaraderie of late night transit riders
- Cops shaking down random teenagers at Queen and Spadina
- Rediscovering my inner rock-god
- Getting my wallet lifted from my own living room
- The pleasant feeling of Chalet Sauce on one's fingers
- The weirdness, the mental-link and the slow-melting heart
You see, I've not forgotten about you. I'm always thinking of new and exciting things to tell you! It's just that I get home from school, and I'm exhausted. It's a lot of work, all this learning, and socializing.
Once again iTunes gets it right, this time with a little George Harrison:
It’s gonna take time
A whole lot of precious time
It’s gonna take patience and time, ummm
To do it, to do it, to do it, to do it, to do it,
To do it right child
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
I got my mind set on you
And this time I know it’s for real
The feelings that I feel
I know if I put my mind to it
I know that I really can do it
I got my mind set on you
Set on you
I got my mind set on you
Set on you

(It's okay. You've reached the end of the page. There's still more to read under "This Was Awesome" up near the top of the page.)
Awesome people so far:
