Holy shit. Worst mistake of my career as a booker. I mean, this is a pretty good show but it still feels kind of shitty.

It's nothing to do with the quality of the music. In fact the music has been surprisingly good. I'm just filled with an antipathy towards the nature of the show itself.

4 bands, all playing to semi-interested audiences.

Maybe it's the fact that I didn't sleep, but everything feels like work. I'm contantly on guard for people trying to fuck me over. Is the band going to steal my patch cord? Is the promoter trying to scam more free drink tickets? Is that girl underage?

I gotta just give in and roll with it. I've got a ten piece act up next and they decided to show up too late for soundcheck. Their fault I guess.

Pull no punches in this blog, I decide. But then also mention no names. Google yourslef all you want band-in-question. You'll find nothing here.
