Had my first big winning night at the table two nights ago. Sat down with $40 and played for about three hours, maybe four, ended up walking away with just over $200 (not including the original $40 or the cost of the beers I drank all night!) Awesome!

So I took my newfound wealth and hired a soundguy for the video game tribute last night. I wanted to stick around but I was feeling super-sick--something was desperately wrong in my stomach--and nights off are few and far between. I ended up taking off at around 11:30. Went for some sushi and then came home watched basketball and fell asleep on the couch.

Funny how your definition of a great night changes. Sushi and sleep, that's all I need.

I'm looking forward to moving. I think the last place we looked at is the place I'll end up living. So far we've been outbid once and had one owner change their mind at the last minute. Who knows, maybe third time lucky?

Whatever. I'll be happy anywhere within walking distance of ideal coffee.
